Brief Position Summary

Serving within the Commercial Department, the Commercial Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the general operations of the commercial team as well as gathering and curating key data to help Fusion Antibodies gain valuable insights and inform decision-making. Their duties include data processing, reporting on performance KPIs & lead and lag indicators, data integrity of Fusion Antibodies CRM and other databases, supporting the commercial team with travel logistics and supporting the commercial operations manager to improve Fusion’s commercial performance and achieve our business objectives.

Primary Position Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Working between the commercial and finance teams to process client purchase orders,
    maintain sales records and ensure data integrity.
  • Gatherings weekly status updates for live client projects from technical and project management teams and presenting them to Commercial team, so they may update clients.
  • Working with company data
    • Using (and creating) CRM dashboards to present pipeline/sales data to the commercial, finance and production teams.
    • Using (and creating) CRM dashboards to prepare a monthly data pack of sales and pipeline data for presentation by the commercial director to the board.
    • Work with commercial and other teams to maintain, update and audit company databases to ensure they are up to date (e.g. ensuring CRM records are up to date and completing missing data).
  • Coordinating logistics of commercial team including;
    • Booking flights and hotels for remote workers when visiting head office or attending conferences (through travel agent).
    • Printing collateral.
    • Logistics of stands and collateral to conferences and events.
    • Maintaining team rota of remote/office working days
  • Supporting the Commercial Operations Manager with pricing and quote development
    • Collecting, processing and interpretation of person hours and consumable data from lab teams for use in pricing data models.
    • Curation of template quotes for use by sales team. Version control and ensuring documents are up to date with latest texts provided by other teams.

  • You will work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute a marketing plan that enables the business to generate new business leads and also helps to raise brand awareness.
  • Campaign creation and management. Working with the Marketing Director you will contribute to the identification and creation of appropriate marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for the distribution of any created content to maximize brand awareness and assist with lead generation where appropriate. You will assess the effectiveness of each

  • Working with the Technical Business Advisor (TBA), you will proactively develop and execute the content plan for the year.   • Digital execution of content. You’ll understand how to use the main B2B social media channels to perform tasks such as raising awareness and lead generation-based activities. Using content created by the marketing team, you will be expected to draw out the salient points to maximize the impact of our message.
  • You’ll execute the event management plan with meticulous planning and attention to detail. This includes all aspects of the event, online and offline, and communicating the objectives for each event. As part of this you will plan all associated pre-event content to highlight our attendance and execute it on social channels. Post event evaluation will be critical

Reporting to the General Operations Senior Director, the role of CLD Team Leader will be
responsible the discovery and development of fully human monoclonal antibody drugs. We are
looking for an experienced scientist & team leader to establish our in-house commercial cell line
development capabilities.

Primary Position Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Planning, design, and delivery of stable mammalian cell lines for the expression of proteins.
  • Optimise cell culture processes identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Identifying and implementing novel technologies.
  • Analysing and understanding data to inform on selection of best stable cell line clones for manufacture.
  • Communicating both within the Cell Line Development Group and across multiple disciplines ensuring that information on work progress is relayed in a clear manner, highlighting any technical issues/opportunities and providing potential solutions.
  • Setting strategic and scientific objectives for the Cell Line Development Team
  • Proactive management of team performance and personal development
  • Influence and draw up experimental strategies in line with business objectives and establish required infrastructure for the whole team.

  • PhD Degree in Life Sciences / Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology or related discipline
  • At least five years experience and extensive technical background in relevant mammalian cell culture techniques e.g. generation of recombinant CHO cell lines, stable and transient transfection processes, fed-batch, static, suspension and bioreactor cultures
  • Extensive experience with automation and high-throughput technologies as applied to mammalian cell line generation and process optimization (e.g. FACS, Nyone, Ambr systems, Liquid handling etc.)
  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements to produce therapeutic antibodies and therapeutic non-antibody proteins.
  • Good communication and organizational skills are essential with previous experience in managing CLD campaigns an advantage.

These are entry level positions, reporting to the technical production Team Leader, the role of technical production Scientists will be responsible for delivering production projects on behalf of clients.

The successful candidates should have a basic knowledge of protein engineering, expression, purification and characterization, they should also ideally have hands-on experience with one or more of the areas mentioned above.

This is an entry level position, reporting to the senior technician, the role of technical production technician will be responsible for supporting the delivery of production projects. The successful candidate should have a basic laboratory knowledge.

 

Primary Position Responsibilities/Tasks
• Assist scientists with experimental procedures to ensure production demands are met within agreed timelines.

• Perform routine laboratory operation and upkeep procedures and maintain accurate records.

• Be proactive with their own CPD (continued personal development).

• Maintain and ensure awareness of all safety procedures. Attend required safety training and adhere to laboratory safety rules (as defined by the Safety Manager).

• Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with organisational standards, policies and procedures.

• Maintaining and populate Production Team databases

 

Job Specification

Essential Criteria

• Minimum HNC/D in a Biology related discipline.

• The ability to work well in a team.

• Experience with MS office applications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team

• Flexible working (weekend work / outside of standard hours)

• Experience in performing ELISA

• >6 months experience in a laboratory environment

• Familiarity with working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.
